Check all the hives for damage again.
    An ongoing process not only done when the weather is bad

    Check stands, straps, mouse guards, woodpecker protection

    Ensure that entrances are clear inside and out

Check the hives for food, especially if the weather is poor.
    Pollen supplement recipe
    60% Fat-free soya flour
    20% Brewer's yeast
    20% Natural pollen from healthy (your own) colonies

    Pollen substitute recipe
    75% Fat free soya flour
    25% Brewer's yeast
Check standing hives
    Check stands, straps, mouse guards, woodpecker protection

    Ensure that entrances are clear.

    Try and assess early forage, but if the weather is very cold this will not happen

    But if the the queen is still present and laying eggs, the workers will take every opportunity to fly to collect pollen
